From 11 to 17 August 2025, Castellammare del Golfo enjoyed an unforgettable week with Castellammare – Art Music Week: a multi-sensory format that combined music, sport and nature, transforming the city into an international creative, musical and cultural hub. FACE produced and promoted the entire project, coordinating activities, communication and guests to create an event that attracted an estimated 20,000 people and brought tourism, visibility and prestige to the area.

The choice of location: Castellammare del Golfo

With its crystal-clear sea and charming historic centre, Castellammare del Golfo proved to be the perfect setting for an event spread between Plaja beach and Porto Nuovo.
During the day, sport, art and nature brought the Beach Village to life, while at sunset the port was transformed into a large arena under the stars, ready to welcome music and entertainment.
The event generated positive spin-offs for accommodation facilities, restaurants and local businesses, strengthening the city’s tourist appeal and enhancing its natural and cultural beauty.

 

FACE’s role: from production to promotion

FACE oversaw every stage of the project, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated management:

  • General production: conception and direction of the entire format.
  • Technical and logistical planning: management of spaces, flows and traffic, with shuttle services and parking organised in collaboration with local institutions.
  • Promotion and communication: marketing, media partnerships and PR activities that gave the event national and international resonance.
    Sponsor involvement: promotion of partners with dedicated visibility and targeted activations.

 

A multisensory format combining music, sport and nature 🌊

The beating heart of the event was the Beach Village at La Plaja, created in collaboration with Red Bull: an immersive location between the sea and creativity, where artistic performances alternated with sporting activities such as beach volleyball, beach tennis, E-Foil, SUP, Wing Foil and outdoor experiences. The village also offered e-bike tours, excursions, sailing trips, catamaran trips and caving trips to the caves of Monte Inici.

 

The evening guests

The week kicked off on 11 August with a set by Davide Squillace, star of the Unlocked x Meet Us evening, who immediately brought an international flavour to the festival.
On 12 August, it was the turn of Circle Beluga, with Pithree & Giorgio Caruso Sebastian – Latteo, who treated the audience to refined and engaging sounds.
On 13 August, Sensazione Stupenda’s showcase with Laidlaw took the audience on a musical journey with a European flavour, while on 14 August, a rich line-up featuring Frank Storm, Loverdose, Kikki – Artmat, Stefano Borsellino and Marco Gaz transformed Castellammare into an epicentre of club culture.
On 15 and 16 August, the calendar came alive with the Unlocked Music Festival, the grand finale of the event: two days of the highest calibre that attracted spectators from all over Sicily and Europe. The second day, in particular, featured Marco Dily, Krystal Klear, Seth Troxler with his iconic Sunset Set, Blackchild and Patrick Topping, lighting up Porto Nuovo with a memorable night.
The closing night on 17 August was entrusted to Meeraqui, with a special guest, TBA CASTEL b2b, who greeted the audience with a rousing set.

 

Impeccable organisation

The technical production, designed by Palermo-based lighting designer Massimo Tomasino and created in partnership with ZZIPP Group, ensured an immersive show with a spectacular visual impact.
Thanks to the collaboration with the police and the Trapani Police Headquarters, traffic and security were managed without any issues, with efficient shuttle services and parking facilities. At the end of each evening, the concert areas were promptly restored, returning the city to its former glory.

 

Local support and partners

The municipal administration of Castellammare del Golfo played a fundamental role, believing in the festival’s vision from the outset and providing institutional and operational support. This synergy has enabled the city to position itself as a benchmark in the Mediterranean music and cultural scene.

The success of the event

Castellammare – Art Music Week attracted around 20,000 visitors, with over 9,000 spectators on the first day of the Unlocked Music Festival alone.
This unprecedented success gave new energy to the city, promoting tourism, safety and international appeal.
More than just a music event, it was a genuine project to promote the area, bringing together the local community, institutions, sponsors and the public in a unique collective experience that established Castellammare as one of the new capitals of summer electronic music.
