Dettagli

The choice of location: the Ancient Greek Theatre of Taormina

The Greek Theatre is one of Sicily’s most famous landmarks and one of the most fascinating venues in the world. Resurrection made history by becoming the first electronic show ever to be hosted there: the power of its millennial history enhanced the visual and sound impact of the show, transforming the evening into a unique encounter between contemporary art and cultural heritage.

FACE’s role: from booking to complete management

FACE oversaw every stage of the organisation, working closely with Giolì & Assia, the guests and their respective management teams to ensure artistic consistency and operational fluidity.

Main activities:

  • Booking and hospitality management: defining contractual terms and coordinating with artists to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Logistical organisation: management of operational activities and flows, optimising the set-up and reception of the public.
  • Promotion and PR: communication and public relations activities to enhance the event and amplify its resonance.
  • Digital Marketing & Advertising: targeted advertising campaigns on Meta and Google to maximise visibility and audience engagement.

The evening’s line-up

The evening began at 8:30 p.m. with SONA, a young talent on the Italian electronic scene, who opened the event with an elegant and sophisticated set, immediately creating the right atmosphere among the audience at the Greek Theatre.
At 9:30 p.m., Andrea Oliva, one of Europe’s most popular DJs, took to the stage and fired up the audience with a powerful mix of house and techno, transforming the ancient amphitheatre into an international dance floor.
Finally, at 10:30 p.m., the most eagerly awaited moment arrived: Giolì & Assia presented their Live A/V Show “Resurrection”, an intense, multi-sensory performance that combined electronic music, live performance and spectacular visuals, giving the audience an unprecedented experience that lasted until midnight.

An unforgettable musical experience

Resurrection took the audience on an exciting journey through innovative electronic sounds and visionary atmospheres, made even more evocative by the set design and lighting direction that enhanced the impact of the live performance.
The Greek Theatre was transformed into an immersive space, in perfect harmony with the emotions conveyed by the music and the timeless magic of the location.

The success of the event

Thanks to careful and comprehensive management, Resurrection was a huge success, confirming Taormina as one of the most prestigious destinations for international music events.
The evening was not just a concert, but an example of how the combination of high-level organisation and an iconic location can transform a show into a memorable and historic experience.
